Biscuit Loves the Library

I love the library. And I love Biscuit. So, when Biscuit goes to library...what could be better?

Biscuit is a little yellow dog. I have read almost all his books (over, and over, and over again!). I even had Biscuit on my birthday cake when I turned two. He is very cute. And he goes everywhere with his little girl. In this book, he went to the library where he found puppets, and books on tape, and lots of books he could curl up and read. In the end he found the perfect book to read with his little girl: Biscuit!

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

If you give me a cookie, I will probably want another. And then I’ll want some juice. And then I’ll want to play. So, I will get out my ice cream shop. And then I will get out my little people. Then I will get out my house. Then I will ask Mama to make steps and slides out of books from her shelf. And then I will play…until I want to go upstairs and play with my puzzles instead.

The Mouse is like me. If you give him a cookie, he will want some milk. And then he will need a straw…and a napkin…and a mirror…until he ends up cleaning the house, coloring pictures and taking a nap!

One thing always leads to another. And I get so tired, I need a nap, too! (Except then I’ll want to play with my friends…)

The Napping House

When I take a nap I have lots of friends in my bed. There’s Socky, and Teddy Bear, and Panda, and Mickey, and Minnie, and Purple Bunny, and Striped Bunny, and Hopper, three little monkeys, several turtles…mmh, I can’t remember them all! But I have lots of them.

In this story, the grandma has lots of friends in her bed, too. A little boy, and a dog, and a cat, and a mouse. They are sleeping and sleeping…until a little flea wakes them all up! Then they get up and play. Just like I do when I get up from my nap. Yea!

Stellaluna

Stellaluna is my newest favorite book. Mama got it for me at the library and she has read it to me two or three times a day every day since. I LOVE Stellaluna!

Stellaluna is a bat. Bats are not birds, but they fly. And they hang upside down when they are sooo sleepy. Stellaluna is just a little bat. She thought she lost her Mama, which was sad. But she found her again! After she lived with some birds. The baby birds are her friends. They fly together.  It looks like fun.

If you haven’t read Stellaluna, you should. Over and over again!
