Freight Train

Papa has a train. Ethan has three trains! Lots of trains pass by near our home. I love trains!!!

The train in this story is all different colors. Each car is a different color: the engine, the boxcar, the caboose (which Mama says should always be red). All the colors of the rainbow. And when the train goes fast, it looks like a rainbow! I know all the colors. I am learning all the different kinds of cars, which is fun.

Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

Mama Monkey has five little monkeys. She puts them all to bed, but they don't obey. They don't go to sleep. Instead, they jump on their bed! Until one falls off...and bumps his head. When Mama calls the doctor, the doctor says no more monkeys jumping on the bed!

But the monkeys don't obey the doctor either. They keep jumping on the bed. And falling off. And getting hurt. It's a fun story, but Mama says I can't jump on my bed either. It's bad, and I could get hurt. But I can read about the five little monkeys in my bed and that's just as fun!

Mama Cat has Three Kittens

There is a mama cat. She has three kittens. I can count them - one, two three. They are named Fluffy, Skinny and Boris.

Fluffy and Skinny like to do what their Mama does. If she washes herself, they wash. If she sharpens her claws, they sharpen their claws. But Boris, well...Boris just likes to take naps. At least, until his Mama, Fluffy and Skinny take a nap. Then Boris wants to play!
