I first read this book when I was on my way home from my first trip to New Hampshire. Mama read it to me in the car and l like it a lot because it has lots of animals and is full of fun colors.
There are some of my favorite animals like a duck and a puppy dog and a goldfish. Some of the animals are funny colors. I've never seen a blue horse, have you? Or a purple cat. But I really like all the bright colors, even if blue horses are silly.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Peter Rabbit is very cute. He has a cute little jacket his mama made him. But Peter Rabbit is also very bad because he disobeyed his mama.
Peter Rabbit's mama told him not to go into Mr. McGregor's garden. But the vegetables look so good, he goes in and eats so much that when Mr. McGregor finds him, he can barely run fast enough to escape. And he has to leave behind his nice jacket, which Mr. McGregor uses for a scarecrow. And Peter Rabbit goes home tired, and dirty, and sick because he ate too much.
You should always obey your mama!

The Cat in the Hat
It’s a rainy day. I know that rainy days can be boring when
you can’t go outside in the sunshine and play. But I’m glad the Cat in the Hat
doesn’t come to my house. What a mess!
The Cat likes to do bad things. Instead of playing with one
thing and putting that away before he gets out another toy, he gets out
everything at once and makes a big mess. Then he brings his friends who come
and run in the house and make an even bigger mess. It is very bad! At least, in
the end, he comes back and cleans everything up.
The Cat in the Hat
is a funny book with lots of funny pictures, but we should never make such a
mess.

Green Eggs and Ham
Do you like green eggs and ham? I don’t think I would like
them. Not in a box or with a fox. Not in a house or with a mouse. Not in a
tree. Not with a goat. Not here or there. But maybe in a train. I do like the
train. In the tunnel. It’s my favorite part of the book.
Sam is trying to get his friend to try something new: green
eggs and ham. They go to a lot of silly places, but he doesn’t try something
new until the very end…and finds out he likes it! I like to try new things to
eat, and I find out I like almost all of it. But I still don’t know if I would
like green eggs…

Goodnight Moon
I love the moon. If I am outside at night, I love to find
it. God created the moon. And the stars. And the sun. And everything!
I have read the book Goodnight
Moon ever since I was a little baby. My favorite part is the red balloon. I
love balloons. And I love the striped bunny in the book, too. I have a striped
bunny just like him. He goes to bed with me. Just like in the book.
