Bear does not like visitors. At all. So, when Mouse comes to
visit… He tries to make Mouse leave. But Mouse keeps coming back! So, Bear
locks the door. And boards up the windows and fireplace. He even stops up the
bathtub! But Mouse keeps getting in, asking for some tea and cheese. Finally,
Bear just lets Mouse visit. He makes tea, gets out some cheese and bread and
makes a nice fire to sit by. And they talk. And Mouse laughs at Bear’s jokes.
Bear likes Mouse coming to visit so much he doesn’t want Mouse to go! It is so
very nice to have friends.
