The Little Engine that Could

Mama says she remembers reading this book when she was a little girl. Maybe you have read it, too! It’s about a bunch of toys who are going to some girls and boys on the other side of a big mountain, but their train breaks down and can’t make it over the mountain. They ask every train that comes by to take them, but the trains are too busy and don’t want to help. When a tiny blue train comes along, he says he’ll help even though he looks too small to make it all the way over the mountain with such a big load. But he thinks he can and keeps telling himself that: I think I can, I think I can… And he does! And all the children get their toys. Yea!
